Clothes
Light cotton for the day and a warm jacket or shawl for the night — winter nights in the desert can drop close to freezing. A scarf helps on windy safaris.
For the sun and sand
Sunglasses, sunscreen, a cap or hat, and lip balm. Closed shoes or sandals with straps are easier on the dunes than flip-flops.
Useful extras
A power bank, a small torch for the night safari, and a zip bag to keep sand out of your phone and camera.
